amusing bit of trivia: three folks who are now entitled to a minute or so of free time on NBC

Who are these people? They are candidates for VP on the Libertarian, Independent, and Green party tickets. And under the FCC's "equal opportunities" rules they are each entitled to free time on NBC stations in any state where they are on the ballot. The amount of time they are entitled to is equal to roughly the amount of time that Sarah Palin appeared on camera on SNL. It doesn't have to be on SNL, but can be on a program with comparable ratings.

Wonder if any of them will try to take advantage of the rule.

2. It would. But sadly he doesn't qualify

One, he's a candidate for president not vice president
Two, I don't think he's actually qualified to be on the ballot in any state.

Too bad, though.
