I'm 57. I remember the Cuban Missile Crisis very well.

That may have been the most important two weeks of my life, and it was a long time ago.

Maybe the JFK assassination was biggest. Or 9/11. Or the moon landing. Or the Supreme Court's gift to W. in 2000. Hard to tell.

But getting through the next two weeks is as important as anything that you or I are likely to see in our lifetimes. Whenever you were born.

Don't take it for granted. This is it, folks, for our nation, and for the world.

Treat it as such. I know I will.
