OK DU, need some help with an undecided...
Need some help finding two things. Please?

I believe within he past month there was a pretty scathing article on Phil Gramm's championing of deregulation being the cause of this whole financial mess, I thought it was NY times but cant find it. It needs to be from a more credible mainstream source.

There is some graph showing I believe either last 40 yrs or 60 years the budget defecit v. the budget surplus when either dem or Rs are in charge. It shows that we are in a surplus situation when dems in charge and reverse during R yers.


Anyone have those links?

But they're good graphic tools nonetheless, and show the true economic impact of Repub -vs- Dem administrations.

In this chart, the 20th percentile represents families in the bottom 20% of incomes, while the 95 percentile are those in the top 5% income:


This one is self explanatory
