Two more votes for Barack Obama in North Carolina

My wife and I voted for Barack Obama for President last night. His vote also meant two straight ticket Dem votes, so Kay Hagen, Bob Etheridge, Doug Berger, Walter Dalton, Bev Perdue and a host of Democrats got two votes. And thanks to someone in the North Carolina forum on DU, we made sure every judge who received our votes was a Democrat.

I've been voting for 30 years and have never been so excited to vote for a candidate. When it came time to black in the oval next to Obama's name my hand shook so much I was afraid I'd spoil the ballot. I think it was a combination of the fact that so much rides on this election and pride to be voting for the man.

Now if I can only hold my breath for two weeks...
