Morning Joe: There we go: Joe Biden's comment allowing McCain to move from economy to leadership
as per morning Joe.
I do not understand Biden's need to puff himself at this point. Even if understand he was trying to reassure people that he will have good advice, it is not what was needed at this point.

3. Please pass the MSM Kool-Aid
Any neutral observer would understand that Palin's comments about pro-America were much more damaging than these comments. Also, the economy is the #1 issue on American's minds. If McCain wants to stop talking about the economy and talk about how he and his incompetent running mate are ready for foreign policy challenges, the Obama camp would happily accept that.

Also, I didn't see you point out the spine of steel part of the comment. Fair and balanced indeed. :eyes:

Looking forward to you thread concerning Palin's pro-America comments. :hi:

5. Not passing, just making aware. They are emphasizing all the negative
aspects of the quotes (yes, they even had that there were two Biden quotes during the same speech, or some such junk). I think it is important to know what is coming and Joe's program is always the first kool-aid dispensing media place in the morning besides Faux News.

6. I wrote them an e-mail
telling them that they were like a Fox & Friends knock-off and I was going to watch CNN's morning show until they changed. I also made sure to lament about how sad that I was that I was a loyal viewer leaving a show that I used to love.

7. I think Colin Powell addressed this point most eloquently in his endorsement of Obama.
That to me was one of his most important reasons for endorsing Obama over Gramps.

9. People aren't all stupid.
You can't look at a crisis without thinking that Palin could be the one in power. They can brag up McCains creds all they want, but he is old and not too healthy.

12. Here is a quote and a link for more info - personally I think Joe was "warning" against Palin
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/10/20/1572652.aspx

Biden’s assessment would seem in line with Lieberman’s, but rather than evoking the potential for a crisis as evidence Obama was not ready,Biden raised the notion to argue precisely the opposite.

“They're going to want to test him, just like they did young John Kennedy,” he said Saturday night in San Francisco.” They're going to want to test him. And they're going to find out this guy's got steel in his spine.”

Damn, I am getting tired of people coming on here and whining about Joe "Dead Intern" Scarborough. The guy is a Repuke, he's going to find any way to prop up McCain. And Mika is going to sit there and smile as he does it.

Do what I do and just shut off the TV set. I consider MSNBC to be equal to Fox News before Tweety comes on at 5pm.

Is McCain sure he wants to go there?

18. Over two solid hours of non stop snarky, condescending...
remarks about Biden. Mika driving the hungry pack with help of course from buchannan with guest help from harwell, andrea mitchell and david gregory. You may as well be watching that bunch of brain dead morans over at the FUX morning zoo.

Dan Rather was introduced as guest host and barely got two sentences out before he just disappeared without so much as a goodbye in the second hour, but not before joe insulted him and disagreed with him about Biden.

joe then berates mika for not having her ear piece on when they came back from break and called her "mommy" who needs to quit mixing her vodka with ambien, called her mommy again to gregory. mika the moron was dutifully sorry and contrite of course. WTF is wrong with her? She's a total embarrassment to all women and journalists everywhere.

In other words, it's another clusterfuck this morning with all the usual suspects.

And he will always take their side on everything. CNN barely mentioned it yesterday.

I have no problem at all with McCain comparing Obama to Kennedy. Does anyone else have a problem with it?
