26. But she looks 10 years younger since the end of her campaign
Didn't notice that the road was wearing on her DURING the campaign, but she looks so rested and fresh now - did you see her at the Alfred Smith dinner last week? She looked amazing.

17. Damn near every politician wears pleated pants
And they all wear their jacket sleeves so that it doesn't show any cuff either. The trends have been for flat-fronted pants and sleeve short enough to show at last 1/2 inch of cuff for most of the 2000's yet most American men (especially politicians) still wear their suits like it's still the 90's. I understand people who haven't bought a suit since the 90's or don't want to spend money to keep up with the latest trends. But why people blow tons of money on suits with pleated pants from places like Brooks Brothers is just beyond me.

Gavin Newsom is the only politician I can think of that dresses like he at least reads GQ every now and then.

25. At least Obama is skinny enough to get away with them
I made my S.O. donate all his pleated pants to the local thrift shop. They are NOT flattering if you're carrying ANY extra pounds.

And I think Obama spends all his clothing budget on new/freshly pressed shirts. Have you EVER seen a man less rumpled?

14. According to Michelle and the girls, those pants are probably a decade old. (How elitist of him!)

16. Yep of all the smears I've heard about him.....
..... the only one I believed to have any credability was that he had a "Really old belt!" and "only likes mint gum."

But if the kids can forgive him for it, I guess we should too.

We'll have to work on the shoes later.

(actually, I love these shoes and I love this picture. Comes in very handy for shooting down the whole "elitist" argument.)

21. Yep. Holes in the shoes, decade old pants and a ratty belt. What an elitist.
Oh, the *minds* of conservatives. :eyes:

18. They should send..
Al Gore to campaign in Florida. That might be too painful for him though. I'd still like to see a Bill Clinton/Al Gore reunion sometime. Maybe they should do that to replace one of Obama's events.
