After Nov 4th the Age of Love & Reason will Rule, and the Hate Mongers will be Ignored, Extinct
I've been working on a book since 2000, and at it's root is the concept that the Universe is held together by Love. Without it, at least from a Human perspective, it would all fly apart, eco-systems, the social contract, a person, all useless... The name of the Book is THE JESUS BOLT - a Jesus bolt is that shaft of metal at the top of a helicopter that keeps all the blades from flying apart, it holds everthing together, a singularity, the ONE Thing we can count on, and it has nothing to do with Religion, just Brotherhood. It's the over-arching metaphor for what Holds It All Together..

The reason I make this claim, and have for a while is that many times I've been lucky enough to have the ability to skate to where the hockey puck is "Going to Be" on a few occasions, not just myself, but when thinking, brainstorming, etc, in conjunction with all my friends, here and in the physical world. That and raw intuition. I've been wrong sometimes, but on this I'm pretty goddamned sure that I've had a vision.

And that is, that LOVE is Coming my brothers and sisters, with Obama as the Jesus Bolt, the center of this NEW AGE of LOVE and REASON (not that I believe in New Age bullshit), and HE is heralding, rolling in this ERA... it's why the right sickly jokes about him being the "messiah", even THEY can see it coming, and they're falling apart..

I recall once when Janeane Garofalo, who was/is a pal of Takebackthemedia.com and a great help when we were being sued by Michael Savage's people, was so worried about the fascists taking over (and still is I'm sure), so I wrote to her and said, "If you study history, and apparently it Rhymes, you can see that when the Fascists are on the rise there is an Outburst of totally Original Creativity, Writers, Comedy, Music, and brotherhood and the sane pull together for heat, light, and the GROOVE. Don't worry. On the other side of this is a Great Healing, a time of Love."

And I believe it, I can feel it, and many folks who don't buy all the New Agey crap are telling me the same thing, they're feeling it too, a movement, a wave building that's going to crest soon, wash over us all, make us spanky clean.

Our job will be to LOOSEN UP, give each other Some SLACK & SPACE, to NOT play "Jello Sheriff", pointing out other folks faults so that we can go Ego Trippin' on them so WE feel better.

Remember, We're going to need people just like YOU when the Humans Take Over.

So Watch for it, VOTE and MAKE IT HAPPEN, and when it does.. LOVE Each OTHER.

Until then PRACTICE. Talk to other people in the Checkout line, in the street, doesn't have to be about politics. Ask them what they had for lunch (A great pickup line in case you don't know that).. CARE. LISTEN. ANSWER Their Question instead of saying what you've been thinking about while THEY were talking.. Find their Buttons and PUSH THEM, but Not the NUKE BUTTON...

That's for those like Palin, and McSame.

It's COMING people, Get Ready for it! :)

DO YOU BELIEVE? CAN IT GET AN AMEN?!!

3. I Hope That You're Right
But I do expect that there will be a load of angry irrational people who will be filled with other-than-love.

I'll pray that it turns out the way you're predicting.

4. Amen!
I'm not a New Age-y person, but I've been mulling over the "puzzle of the Obamacons" and notice how negativity thrown at Obama doesn't stick, and it reminded me of an old line, "Love was undefeated, it simply didn't fight." But maybe "not fighting" wasn't the exact way--maybe it was more like akido. You know--the opponent unbalances himself--as McCain did going negative, and Obama helped him unbalance himself, and just talked about what "we" could do instead of talking about nonsense. The darks side carries the seedss of its own destruction, and love wins over fear.

The answer to why there's been all these newspaper endorsements and conservatives who favor Obama makes sense, really--under the skin, we're more alike than not once ideology gets put aside. We want things to get better, not worse, and we want unity. not division. There is strength in numbers, and you see that strength in these great, diverse, energized crowds. And you see weakness in the angry alternative.

It's love. Looking past differences and trying to see things through together--and I really dig it.

8. Now we're talking!
Yep, you've lined it all out, and it's SPOT ON.. just LOOK at the crowds, Humanity is RESPONDING to the Reason, No Bullshit, Love scene..

We are READY to CARE again, and we'll HAVE TO, with the economy the way it is.

Like I used to tell folks, when I had money I didn't give a shit, but when I was broke I suddenly developed One Hell of a Personality :)

I always would read those OLD TYME Gospel songs while everyone was yattering away, and look at the notes and think, "Y'know SOMEONE Should ROCK this stuff out.." :)

Some of those songs are pretty catchy :)

9. I believe that ten thousand years ago people treated each other
with more respect and humanity than we do now.. and even Gandi and Christ said you'll always have the poor, and Evil among you.. but it's about time for a Pendulum swing, and I'm getting the feeling that it won't be a Sixties style, more of a Laid Back 70's feel of Rock with Your Brother, "Hey, How's it Hangin'?" Kind of world.

MORE SLACK..

All the signs are there, TWO unwanted wars, So we'll FIX that, Crushing hate and Racism, we will RAIL against it, remove it by HANGING TOGETHER, All Races..

Having studied art history I also know that graphics reflect the Inner Mind of a society, All those commercials and graphics with RAYS shooting out in all directions? Look at ICONS, etc.. that is showing that people are LOOKING FOR GODLIKE Qualities, and will exhibit them as well, then reflect them.

I may be wrong, but on this I'm fairly sure we're looking at another Age of Reason, after the Bush Dark Ages.

17. Obamaness!
When John McCain is in his Seventh House
And Colin Powell aligns with ours
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars

This is the dawning of the age of Obamaness
The age of Obamaness
Obamaness!
Obamaness!

Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derisions
Golden living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revalation
And the mind's true liberation
Obamaness!
Obamaness!

When the John McCain is in the Seventh House
And Colin Powell aligns with ours
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars

This is the dawning of the age of Obamaness
The age of Obamaness
Obamaness!
Obamaness!

19. Amen! For the first time in a loooonnnnggg time, people are rejecting
the nastiness. I'm surprised, but glad, to see it.

Lots of people were already appalled by the theocracy which the Religious Right has been pushing for, but McC's crass nomination of Palin totally freaked out any who were paying attention. And what she has presented to the country since then, as more people did begin paying attention, is nothing less than shocking and UNACCEPTABLE in its absurdity, falseness, and ruthlessness.

Then add to that, grassroots people supporting Tinklenberg against Bachmann's attempt to resurrect McCarthy... media actually for a change reporting and criticizing it because they're shocked too... gee whiz, KO's body slam of Limbaugh tonight. I really believe Obama's rise in numbers is due to a LOT of people rejecting this corrupt hate, just as Powell described his reasoning on it too. Individual voters were rejecting it on their own first, but it's important for them to see "leaders" doing it too, and to hear reports about large numbers of other voters feeling the same way across the country.

Dems too, are seeing what can be done when we hold together on an essential focus point, and don't fracture and fight among ourselves... united we stand, divided we fall. There are a lot more of us, than the elites and hate-mongers, and now the internet gives us a "public square" to meet and rally in. Our numbers should be able to steer the direction of policy, and set the tone of the country, but divided within and divided by hate without, majority opinion had been marginalized for so long. That gives hate its opportunity for power.

Yes, I definitely see a CHANGE in this country already, even before the election. This economic crisis and McC's campaign heightened the empty, false ugliness to a point where it HAD to be rejected... first the lies, then the economics, then the hate. And that first "no!" to it which we have just seen in the last few weeks, is I believe, waking up our better angels. Which I haven't seen in a very long time.

23. I'm trying to believe that
but I remember feeling we'd reached the "age of love & reason" before and all the hate and crap just went underground for a while. Eventually it crept back to the surface, more poisonous than ever bringing us to this point in history.

I'm afraid that we'll just forget again and as a result history might keep repeating itself.

Thank you for the beautiful thoughts. I'm ready, but this time I'm keeping my eyes open!

There's plenty of great vibes to draw on these days, remember the old, "What if they gave a War and Nobody Came?"

Now it's, "What if they Tried to Elect another Racist NeoCon, and Nobody Came.." :)
