Rachel talking about campaign fallout of O taking 2-days off trail--the answer is NONE
Obama is showing that family comes first and he is going by the grandmother who means a good deal to him and was an important part of his upbringing. What Obama is doing is the right thing and most people will understand and admire him for having his priorities straight.

1. I dare McCain to keep up the negative attacks while Obama's grandma is sick.
I bet he would do it to. Just to be an asshole.

5. Yea, I really don't understand what the fuck she's talking about right now
I mean, it's his fucking grandmother for christ's sake. Gosh, I'm sure it's not about two days of his fucking campaign right now in his mind. Talk about lack of empathy right now.

10. Seriously. Total non-issue and she comes out saying, "Obama is suspending his
campaign," making it sound like McLiar did. Such BS. Let him take two days to be with his Grandma and come back and finish kicking McLiar's ass all over the country. This is the first time I've been disappointed with Rachel. With so many other real issues, giving this much time to such a non-issue is troubling. Why not talk about 30 cars getting their tires slashed, a bear being shot and draped in Obama signs, Obama supporters getting death threats?? Garbage!

12. I thought it was a bit insensitive:
I know it's a presidential campaign, people need to remember that he's a human being, and may have other concerns -- like the failing health of the woman who raised him. It's only a couple of days, and if anyone won'tt vote for him because he needs to spend time with his grandmother needs to be tarred, feathered, shot with poop and hanged for stinking.

11. I listened to Rachel's segment and wondered what would the alternative be?
IT'S HIS GRANDMOTHER! WHAT THE HELL ELSE WOULD YOU DO?

Surely, we wouldn't want to watch a sad, withdrawn Obama for the next few days. He would never forgive himself if he didn't see about his Grandma. I have no doubts what I'd do if my Granny (we did call her Granny) was ill or when she was on her deathbed. You never get those days back. Never.

15. I didn't go to my grandma's funeral...
and didn't get to see her before she died. I couldn't deal with it at the time and I will live with that until I die. It is an extremely unpleasant memory.

13. and Lee said
that he was bringing a small press pool with him in case he needed to make a statement. Biden and Michelle are still campaigning, hell, Hillary and Bill might offer to chip in. Bob Schieffer was just on Larry King, and he said "good for Obama". Plus, Wisconsin and Iowa, where the events were scheduled, are looking good. Rachel was kind of being too much of a drama queen for my liking.

17. they'd probably be willing, if they don't already have events planned.
Maybe the media will actually be forced to cover a Biden rally now. I understand that it's important for Rachel to address the issue of "backlash, but she was really hammering that point and it got annoying.
