McCrypt strategy is to run the table with FL, GA, IN, MO, NC, NV, OH, VA, WV and ... win PA!

10. we here in PA are working really hard to make sure he doesn't!
If we can go for Kerry, I don't see why we can't go for Obama.

22. And you're doing damn well, too...
You've got Obama up by 11.7% (per RCP average)

Here are the tossups Obama leads in :
OH (2.8%)
NV (4.2%)
MO (2.7%)
NC (2.3%)
FL (2.0%)

All numbers from RealClearPolitics as of 3:52PM PDT 10/20/08

25. hmm, I thought and hoped Obama would be up more in Ohio...
PA and Ohio are very similar - but also very different.

21. Average polls put him up there.
However, that's McCain's strategy. Keep Ohio, Virginia, Missouri, Florida and North Carolina red, while picking off PA.

14. Depends on MO and NC...

If McCain picked off PA and ran the table with OH, VA, FL, and NV, Obama could still win with NC and MO. But honestly, if McCain was able to pull it out in VA (!) and PA (!!!), he would almost certainly win NC.

27. I don't tink that's going to happen he's pulling out of CO.
I know CO has nothing to do with the others. But I'm sure a lot of voters are getting discouraged when it's being publicly announced that he's pulling out of other states. Further more, apparently he's pulled out of Northern VA and just focusing on the lower half...as mentioned by Pfotenhauer on MSNBC.

4. They think they can stir up enough hate in PA to put them over the top?
Are there enough enraged culture warriors there to combat the epidemic Republican Desertion Syndrome?

6. PA
Every poll out of there has Obama with 10 or more over Mccain.Obama has a better shot at
winning Indiana,Montanna,Georgia,West Virginia,Kentuckey, and Mississippi than Mccain does In PA.
Virginia Is treading Obama, and Nevada looks good as well.We know Ohio and Florida will go down to the wire but this obsession with PA doesn't match reality.

9. I'd say Virginia is more then trending Obama, and Florida is still a good bet, given the right time
and money spent there. Ohio, I'm not sure, but it would probably be the same as Florida.

17. Race
I would classify Virginia as likely Obama. When both Cnn/Time,and RAS has Obama at 10 pver Mccain
this Is not a tossup. The RAS/Fox poll not withstanding I think Florida Is slightly leaning Obama.
Ohio Is the wildcard.Polls are all over. There Is a chance Obama wins Nevada,Missouri,Virginia,
North Carolana, and Florida but loses Ohio.

11. no choice
He has to try and pick off a big prize like Pennsylvania. Considering the position they're in, it's probably not a bad (even if it's highly unlikely to work) strategy.

12. Let's put it this way: If he DOESN'T take ALL those states (every single one) he is toast. n/t
(Your map has VA in Obama's column by the way, which is the way it will probably end up but likely not what McAsshole would like to see.)

still win. It would be embarrassing, but he'd win.
