"Fascism should be more appropriately called CORPORATISM,
because it is the merger of state and corporate power....Benito Mussolini.

No one has more power or receive more benefits under GOP than the
Business Community of this country.

If being for the Middle Class is Socialist, I wear it as a badge of
honor.

7. I'd call McCain apparently asleep
when civics and government were studied in school, like most Republicans.

A progressive tax system (like we have done for years) is NOT SOCIALISM. What socialism is, is what Dubya/Paulson have done.

Still, most people when given the choice would choose for the government to own corporation (socialism) if the other option is for corporations to own the government (fascism).

8. we are better off calling them on their nonsense instead of using extreme hyperbole ourselves.
liberals dont need fallacious bs like conservatives do. we just need to call people on it.

14. Fascist is certainly more accurate,
Edited on Mon Oct-20-08 05:37 PM by LWolf
since there is nothing remotely socialist about Obama.

As long as we're tossing terms around. The Bush administration, with McCain supporting, on the other hand, has numerous characteristics of fascism.
