Yes, I voted today. My journey in voting.
After a brief respite at work, I decided to go to early voting in Colorado. I arrived at a Methodist church (!) to the fellowship hall, and where an poll worker asked for my driver's license. I obliged, and asked me to sign a blue postcard - I quickly photographed it with my Blackberry, and got my giant 2 page paper ballot. All I had to do was fill the broken arrow where I indicated. At one point in the middle of my work, I screwed up - since it was a paper ballot with no eraser - and noted clearly on the ballot to request a replacement ballot - which I did - and had no problems. This time I was much more careful, and went Democratic all the way. I voted no to all retaining judges (My firm belief is that Colorado judges are stale, and needs to be refreshed), voted how ProgressiveNow wanted me to vote on the amendment issues. I finished, and turned in my ballot.

Now Obama has another vote from me! Go Colorado Blue!

2. I did the same in Texas today. This is the first time I ever had to stand in line for early voting.

7. Yeah, but those lines may indicate a little more blue in Texas' complexion.
At least let's hope.

4. Yay, HawkeyeX!
I've been reading your stuff here for years, and appreciate the detail in your voting. I love that you took a pic of your vote. I did too, LOL. I think Dems are extra paranoid about their votes this year, as they should be. I don't know anyone who isn't. Anyway, Love ya, and thanks for posting!

5. SSSSSHHHH! You're not supposed to tell us how you voted. Secret Ballot.
So I won't tell you that I voted for Obama by mail in Oregon last week. ;)

6. No trouble early voting in Georgia
Hi, Brer Cat's sister here. Went to vote in my tiny town today...no line, friendly folks. Touch screen, no flipping, final page looked just like I had checked on previous pages. Vote worker said over 1500 early voters so far in this county of less than 9,000 total population. That doesn't count absentee ballots.
