Hillary will get her campaign debts paid by Obama/Us
With the huge amount of money people donated to Obama in September, I'm certain there is plenty of cash in the coffers to pay off Hilary's campaign debt of $20 million plus. Consequently, I sure hope we see more of her and Bill out there for Obama, over the next two weeks...

1. But I don't think the campaign can legally pay her debts.

8. The only way he can help pay it off
Is with joint fundraisers. He would ask his donors to donate to Clinton as well. It is not legal for Obama to take money donated to him and transfer it to Clinton's campaign.

4. I wonder: Can Obama pay for each of Bill and Hillary's appearances?
That would be one way to pay off her debt - with campaign related charges.

9. That would be wonderful.
Even if that is not possible given regulations (which I know little about), if Obama says the word, people like myself will donate.

13. How will that work?
I read earlier in the summer that Hillary had until sometime in August to pay back her personal loan. If it wasn't paid back by then, she was out the money.

Beyond that, I'm under the impression that Obama can donate $2300 to Hillary's campaign, and hold fundraisers for her.

If you have other information about this, please share...:-)

14. Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Haven't we been over this??
Individuals can only contribute $2,300 to her campaign debt. Couples $4,600

Barack can't raise money from his supporters, telling them it's for one purpose (electing him President), then use it for another (giving to HRC). It's a bait and switch. It's fraudulent. And it's illegal. PERIOD.

Imagine if LIEBERMAN had run for President this cycle. Now imagine if you learned Obama paid off Lieberman's campaign debt with money YOU donated. Personally, I would be furious. I feel LESS so about HRC, but still, I did not give to HRC's campaign FOR A REASON. I will not contribute to her debt retirement FOR A REASON. I would not be happy if Obama took donations that I gave to help HIM get elected and give it to Hillary to pay off her campaign which I took serious objection to.

I'm poor as hell. I got no money in the bank, subsist on Ramen noodles and grilled cheese sandwiches, and have to by my clothes at Goodwill. I can spare $10 every few weeks to give to Barack because it's an investment in our country and my future - the alternative would be for everything to get WORSE. I CANNOT spare any money to BAILOUT a MILLIONAIRE's failed presidential campaign... a campaign that VASTLY and KNOWINGLY spent beyond their means.

I don't know about you, but I'm pretty fucking sick of being asked to bail out millionaires (political or corporate) when I'm just barely surviving. Sorry. No dice.
