Limpballs televised tantrum: "It's about race! It's about race!"
Edited on Mon Oct-20-08 01:00 PM by npincus
re: Colin Powell endorsement (MSNBC). Repeating similar remarks he made yesterday.

If the combined effect of the snide snark and/or blatant race-baiting bigotry coming lately from all corners of the Republican party (elected officials, pundits, McCain camapign, RW MSM A-HOLES like Rush & Hannity) doesn't drive all 34 African Americans left in the Repoublican party away forever, I just don't know what will.

These "people" will be very sorry. They have redefined themselves as the Party of Angry Racists. That's going to stick.

4. Apparently it's ok for white people to vote for the white guy but
if a black guy supports a black candidate that's "RACE!!!"

7. What is it if a big fat drug addicted white guy has sex with little boys?
The incredibly sad element to this is HIS AUDIENCE!

11. Are you implying that Rush Limbaugh is a hardcore junkie pedophile?
It sounds like you are suggesting that some people say that Rush Limbaugh is a hardcore junkie pedophile. I'm not saying this, but I know that some people say that Rush Limbaugh is a hardcore junkie pedophile. Rush - why won't you tell you truth? Why won't you prove that you are not a hardcore junkie pedophile?!

13. I've heard that too
I've also heard that he does not want to prove that he is not a pedophile for fear of alienating his fans at free republic.

17. So far, there's no hard proof
that Rush Limbaugh is a hardcore junkie pedophile, but "some say" that he is.

A hardcore junkie pedophile, that is.

8. This reminds me of what I read here the other day about McCarthy
Someone posted that it was LBJ's idea to televise the McCarthy hearings so that Americans could see just how unhinged he really was. It worked. Public opinion turned against McCarthy and the Senate was then able to deliver the coup de grace to his idiocy.

I'm wondering if someone hasn't gotten the same idea with Rush Limbaugh and his ilk -- turn the rock over and expose the squirming rot to the sunlight.

5. The GOP sure does seem like the party of angry racists.
Edited on Mon Oct-20-08 01:12 PM by Overseas
The pundits like to pretend that "it's all just politics" and the ugly smearing doesn't reflect the truly honorable feelings of Senator McHate, and "both sides do it."

But they are utterly mistaken.

The GOP has been ultra-racist. I wish this ugliness would result in their party losing most of its members. That could get them to change tactics.

If Republicans just join in the attempt to brush aside the ugliness as "just politics" that will leave the Atwater clones as thinking they're good to go on the next election with slamming whatever racism or sexism happens to suit their needs at the time.

Edit: I'm looking forward to seeing "Boogeyman: The Lee Atwater Story" soon.

6. White Russian's said ...No $$$ for you. ROFLMAO
Russia's permanent mission to the UN has received a letter from U.S. Republican presidential candidate John McCain asking for financial support of his election campaign, the mission said in a statement on Monday.

"We have received a letter from Senator John McCain with a request for a financial donation to his presidential election campaign. In this respect we have to reiterate that neither Russia's permanent mission to the UN nor the Russian government or its officials finance political activities in foreign countries," the statement said.

According to Ruslan Bakhtin, press secretary of the Russian mission, the letter dated September 29 and signed by McCain, was addressed to Vitaly Churkin, Russia's envoy to the UN, and arrived on October 16.

The ambassador's title was not included in the letter, and was not clear why the letter had taken over two weeks to arrive.

Enclosed was a request for a donation of up to $5,000 to McCain's election campaign to be returned with a check or permission to withdraw the money from the donor's credit card until October 24.

19. Why is this not headline news? It's okay for McAsshole to call for an audit of Obama's
donations (they could be from foreigners, gasp!!), but he's actively soliciting Russians for donations?

I sincerely hope someone in the MSM picks up on this story and gives it the airing it deserves.
