1. While I appreciate the image you are trying to evoke,
and even agree with the assumption of said image, I do not think it would serve much purpose. I have not seen the push on the part of the campaign strongly pointing out Kerry's heroic war service as providing much in the way of real support. I for one am tired of re-visiting that awful war, and outside of assertive and swift responses to the SBL's smears, we should begin addressing the very real issues impacting us today.

3. It responds to issues Bush is raising and getting points on and it turns
them arround to say something relevant about Bush.

5. I like the images - what are you afraid of Kerry's service record?
Edited on Mon Sep-06-04 02:12 PM by merh
Or are you afraid of that the weed that would be king has none.

For all the freepers who say he didn't do anything in Nam or only served 4 months, they miss that JFK served two tours, came back as an antivist that had an impact on the end of the illegal war that was Vietnam, went to law school, was a successful prosecutor, was lt. governor of Mass and has been a successful senator.

What was the weed? An embarassment to his family, had many DUI's, was assigned to the cushy NG unit, drunk in Alabama, wears a ribbon on his uniform that he was not entitled to wear (can you say fraud), never reported for duty in Alabama, never finished his service, cocaine abuse in texas, failed businesses, . . .
the list goes on.

Kerry's record is important, just as the failure of the weed to have a record of anything but failures is important.

2. excellent, I hope they make it. A longer version could show what
each were doing during each decade - like prosecutor - drunk; Lt. Gov.- drunk; Senator - drunk, etc.
