Is George Stephenopolos still a Democrat? Was he ever one?
I saw the documentary, The War Room, a few days ago. It captured the behind the scenes action of Bill Clinton's 1992 campaign.

Carville was the head, and Stephanapolos was the official spokesman (kind of like Robert Gibbs is for Obama).

Was he fully a Democrat back then or just a hired gun? I know he is a political bigwig at ABC now, but are his personal ideologies still on our side?

Many have noticed that ABC/Disney tends to lean to the right a bit.

5. I would LOVE to see a 'War Room'-type thing for the Obama campaign

I enjoyed watching how they pounced on the fact that Bush Sr. was using a Brazilian company to print campaign materials. They were just giddy planning out how they could make an ad about it and eat up news cycles.

In the Obama doc I can see exactly this type of exchange happening with McCain's "houses" gaffe.

6. I actually talked to him briefly two years ago...
And being that he worked for Clinton and ABC I asked him what he thought of that ridiculous Path to 9/11 documentary. He gave me examples of how it was inaccurate but he didn't seem to criticize ABC at all for it.

7. I believe he was, one time...
at the 1996 convention, afterwords, at the hotel, I met Carol Browner (US EPA) and that was great. Then I sat down and had a drink w/ George, he was so wound up. I think that he's so passionate that he could believe his job description, which is to please the media.
