I can't even imagine what I would do if this really happened to me. I would go absolutely ballistic!! Video your votes!! We HAVE to expose them.

2. Long way to go for attention, isn't it?
If you're gonna entice me to actually click your link...at least give me a legitimate payoff.

4. So, are you saying the reports of electronic vote switching are false, or
are you only kidding around?

6. Just trying to bring attention to this - it's critical
I think everyone that can should video their votes when on machines. I see so many posts asking everyone to video their vote if they see something wrong. IMO that would be too late (might not reoccur). So everyone should video the first attempt.

12. It's illegal in Kentucky...
I don't know about other states, though.

14. Most cell phones take video now
Is it illegal INSIDE your booth? To shoot just your screen and nothing else?

15. Yep...
But Kentucky law forbids people from bringing cameras and recording devices into polling places. Secretary of State Trey Grayson said his fear is that if they try it in Kentucky, their video for posterity would say, "Here's me casting my first vote, and I broke the law."

Grayson said Friday that voters should be encouraged to record a video diary about the experience at the polls after they're away from their voting precinct — at least 300 feet away. Those caught recording inside a polling place could be slapped with a misdemeanor.

"I think it's a great use of technology to record that for posterity," he said. "I like that part of the program. But it's like they came up with the idea of recording your vote without thinking of the consequences."

5. It happened to me- back in 2002- when we first voted on touch screen machines for Governor
It kept flipping to Jeb Bush - but not till the end when it would say "Please reconfirm your vote and push the red button"- when I went to reconfirm and realized it had switched to Jeb Bush- I pushed the button I wanted to vote for and it did it again. Took till the third try before it locked in my candidate. I was horrified- I knew that something was terribly wrong at that moment but had nowhere to go with it.

Now here we are 2 elections later and nothing has really changed- we still have electronic machines and no safeguards or random audits in place. At least we have a bit more people paying attenting this time- but I'm not sure it's enough to stop the fraud that has already begun and will continue through the 4th.

Once it happens to you, it's not something you ever forget. Talk about feeling violated...

11. Sorry
Guess I pressumed it was widely known that we vote by mail. And soooo happy that we do. The whole country should imo.

13. Dumb question, but how do you know your vote won't get
"lost" in the mail? Do you get any proof that the state received your ballot?

17. I knew what your video would be before I clicked on it.
Of course, I live right across the border, and always vote by mail too. In WA it is optional. People are so paranoid about it, but there has never been a single instance of a problem as far as I know. If people are curious about how it works, it is all explained at the state websites.
