What about early voting makes it harder for them to steal votes?

What about early voting makes it harder for them to steal votes?
Just curious because I've heard alot of people recommend early voting as a way to make sure your vote is properly counted

1. a couple of things
it's less likely to be a hassle and it eases up the congestion on Election day which will make it more likely everyone will get to vote.

here in NM, they tally the machines everyday (optical scanners) and those tallies are added to the absentee ballots they spend all day counting on election day

2. ALSO, as we've seen here,
