5. My wife and I finished our ballots today.

Last night my two year old grandson helped me fill in the oval for Barack Obama. For the first time in my life, there was some real urgency to getting our ballots in as soon as possible. After we were done, we went out and installed another big ass Obama sign on the heavily traveled county road running past our ranch.

9. Congrats from another Oregonian

I have my ballot; we think dh's will be here by Wednesday. We are remote, and will be driving the ballots to a nearby city drop-off place.

It is a crazy thing for us formerly somewhat apolitical people to be so darned excited about voting.
