and will always be a P.O.S.

Obama doesn't need P.O.S. endorsements and I was hoping he'd turn it down.

our neighbors and friends, all dead for a politican's pack of lies that most people around the world KNEW -we didn't just "lucky guess", WE KNEW- were a pack of lies, I cannot and will not forgive those who were involved in causing the deaths and destruction of so many human beings who TO THIS DAY have not asked for forgiveness nor decried their role in the ILLEGAL AND UNPROVOKED INVASION of a nation that had done NOTHING whatsoever against us.

I give him credit for the remarks he made re Cpl. Khan; I give him credit for endorsing Sen. Obama.

I do not forgive him his role in causing Cpl. Kan's death.

Powell's endorsement may help elect the man who will overturn the policies you so detest!

10. that's why I thought it tacky Powell took cover behind the story
of Corporal Khan. most of the easily manipulated here were in tears with praise over this shameless act.

..... he wasn't using the situation to directly knock the other party but to address the larger issue that we as Americans too often bash those of the Islamic faith.

Acceptable exception IMO.

12. Rex, your bringing this up show me that you do have a good heart, I know you do,
Colon Powell did some bad things, but they were done reluctanctly and without malice--I think he want to redeem this. I'm not ready to bring him in the Democratic fold, but his endorsement was solid-based in fact and well thought out. He was sincere, I may not trust Powell for a while, but I am glad he is on our side where we can watch him/

22. Fuck this nonsense, seriously, it's been well documented Bush planned to invade Iraq
Edited on Sun Oct-19-08 10:09 PM by Heather MC
BEFORE 9/11, Powell was not going to stop him.
He was fed the same line of bullshit we all were

Bottom Line Bush wanted to one up his father so over 4000 soldiers had to die.

The only Powell could have stopped this, is if he played bring a gun to work day, and shot the Administration, because nothing short of Death was going to Keep Bush from playing cowboys and indians with real live people.

The buck stops at Bush/ Cheney, they did this, they planned this, long before Bush stole the White House. And lets face it, the greatest trick of the devil was to convince the world he didn't exist

Bush made alot of people believe he was something other than what he was. IT's easy to point fingers now, when you know it all.

Powells is apart of the Republican party that still has a shred of decency and respect to it.
He thought that's what he was dealing with, when he learned other wise it was to late but at least he left, not like Condi who is in lock step with that fool
