McCain casts himself as middle-class guardian....LIAR

TOLEDO, Ohio – Evoking "Joe the Plumber" near his hometown in this pivotal state, Republican John McCain on Sunday cast himself as the guardian of middle-class workers and small-business owners who fuel the economy.

"If I'm elected president, I won't raise taxes on small businesses, as Sen. (Barack) Obama proposes, and force them to cut jobs," McCain said of his Democratic opponent during a rally at the convention center. "I will keep small business taxes where they are, help them keep their costs low and let them spend their earnings to create more jobs, not send to Washington."

McCain flew to Toledo, near where "Joe the Plumber" Wurzelbacher lives, from the state capital of Columbus amid the GOP's push for this swing state and its 20 electoral votes.

Look bud .... We all want tax cuts, and there is no doubt the Middle Class needs some relief ...

But it is also true that the wealthy of this nation have gotten a FREE RIDE when you and your friends in the GOP cut their taxes to almost nil .....

Yet; We have TWO wars, a 700 BILLION dollar bailout of the credit markets, a crumbling infrastructure, and a wealthy class that doesnt want to help pay for all that ...

NOBODY wants to pay taxes, John, but since we must, we ALL must ... We ALL must share the burden .....

Obama is going to DECREASE taxes for the poor and middle classes, and INCREASE the taxes on those who can best afford them, as is fair and just .... A quote from Adam Smith:

It is blatantly UNFAIR that the rich have escaped their civic responsibilities by refusing to pay their share of taxes ..... Obama is rectifying that disparity ... He is REVERSING the tax cuts for the wealthy that should have NEVER BEEN IMPLEMENTED, and which you and your party pushed through without care or consideration of the impact on the nation's solvency ...

It is now time to rectify THAT imbalance ... The wealthy MUST PAY THEIR WAY as citizens .... There is no other option ....

The Middle Class is doing poorly now because you and your friends have REFUSED to allow decent wage increases to 'ruin' your orgy of profits, for decades running .... "How dare the poor want higher wages !"

Well ... It is only fair to increase the pay of hard working Americans in proportion to the increased wealth enjoyed by the upper classes, thanks to the productive work of the Middle Class. We CANNOT continue to buy things, and support the overall structure of the economy if we cannot afford to buy goods .... You have STRANGLED the Middle Class : The opposite of defending it ...

Yet: You and your friends REFUSED to share that increase in wealth, and then had the cynical audacity to DECREASE the civic contributions of those who benefited MOST from the increase in wealth we enjoyed, and so you saddled the lower classes with HIGHER prices ... HIGHER taxes, and LOWER wages .... You hit the Trifecta, John ....

No John .... No: You are NOT a defender of the Middle Class ... Quite the contrary: You have done all you can to DESTROY the Middle Class ...

And you and your friends have largely succeeded ....

These are the fruits of the ideas YOUR party planted some 40 years ago : It was your intent to destroy unions, and to deny decent compensation to workers by stacking the deck against them .... YOUR party did this intentionally .... And now WE suffer as a nation ....

No .... You will NEVER be a defender of the Middle Class, John .... How dare you even imply your fitness for the job ....

PAY US A DECENT WAGE ...

And tell your friends to PAY THEIR WAY by increasing their tax contributions, for the sake of our nation ....
