but I would guess that a lot folks, probably most, on here are working as hard as you or I for Kerry. Just because people like to complain sometimes, and have somewhere to do it, doesn't mean they aren't working for Kerry.

I say this because our little democratic service club has grown from 150 members in January to 1450 as of this month. All volunteers doing voter reg, walking neighborhoods, stuffing envelopes, having neighborhood meetings, organizing. I invited my neighbors to a "political potluck" and 50 people showed up!

Sure we rag on the Kerry campaign advisors, and bitch about Bush. But I personally don't think that is "destroying the party" as some folks (not you) on DU say.

....and the rest of his NeoCon gang. Most of us having been actively involved in some political capacity for quite some time.

Maybe you ought to try dropping your "message" on some other message boards, perhaps someplace where you've actually posted more than a couple of hundred times.

4. spent yesterday registering voters

The Mrs. and I spent all yesterday am registering new voters at a flea market in heavily Democratic Arlington County. We did the same thing at the county fair. Even though we remained resolutely non-partisan it was amazing how many folks said something to us about making sure they vote this year to get "that man" out of the White House.

My comments were directed to those who most probably are not reading this. They are too busy bitchin about how much gas is, how many people have been killed in Iraq, etc etc etc.
