A local station runs a disturbing story about a Ohio resident named Mike Lunsford who has hung an effigy of Barack Obama in his front yard. Lunsford freely admits that he is against Obama because of his race.

things like this does not surprise me or even worry me. These people exist. They always have. We just don't always see them, which reminds me of an incident that happened years ago. When I lived in my old home town, we had racial slurs written on the side of our house and we never knew who did it, but it was there just the same. I wish I had hope that things had changed or would change, but I don't any more. I think the most we can hope for is that we make them ashamed to show their ugly hatred because society will not stand for it. But as long as there are campaigns and people like mccain/palin these types of things will be encouraged and we will suffer the consequences for years to come. You know, I try not to hate, and I don't hate this idiot because he is just that, an unimportant idiot. But it is getting harder and harder not to hate those people in power who use these idiot's hate and ignorance for their own ambitious ventures.

If mccain/palin cheat and steal this election I will be sad for all of those I leave behind, but I will be happy to leave this old world behind. :cry:

I called up the Dayton Ohio field office but the Secret Service isn't open on the weekends so had to leave a message with the streets listed, the guy's name and the description of the situation.

I'm a bit weirded out though as I don't like bringing myself to the attention of a federal agency because it's just creepy to think about in this Big Brother environment that the Bush administration has fostered. But Obama's safety is far more important to me than that.

White people were worried about African Americans rioting if Barack is elected. I am worried about the safety of African Americans when the white supremest riot when Barack is elected. Everyone here that are not white, please vote early and stay close on that day just to be safe. My son will be working until early morning on election night, covering it, and I will be worried to death all that night. My daughter may be in Missouri volunteering and that scares me to death.
