Can anyone tell me when '60 minutes'...

will be airing the segment with former lt.gov. of Texas (can't recall his name)who is now admitting he pulled strings to get W. into T.A.N.G.? I keep hearing about the piece but can't seem to find an air date for it, and god knows I don't want to miss it!

maybe not tonight. 60 Minutes is on, but this from Salon on 9/1:

"Sources say Barnes has already sat down for a "60 Minutes" interview that will air next week. A "60 Minutes" spokesperson declined to comment, saying the program does not discuss reports that are in progress. "

So - dunno if 9/5 is "next week" after 9/1, or if that means 9/12. It doesn't mention him in the TV Guide listing, but that's nothing new; I'm taping just in case.

I'm sure we'll get the word here as it gets closer to actual air date. I'm watching CBS now and they just promo'ed a story on Robert Duvall for 60 Minutes II on Wed, so I'm thinking the Barnes story is more likely next Sunday. I would think it would be the top story - but then who knows with network honchos!
