Wow, Chris Wallace on Fox is handing McCain his ass!
I was just flipping channels; normally, I can't watch anything Fox. But Chris Wallace is actually skewering McCain and calling him out on all sorts of things including the robocalls, the Ayers attack, etc.

1. Is he looking to get fired from Fox?
Is he the one Glenn Beck is replacing?

2. Sure looks like it. He asked more penetrating follow-ups than most
other so-called reporters on other channels. He was really sticking it to McCain in a way one would only expect from a very good Obama surrogate, and McCain is flipping out in reply.

8. McCain actually emphasized that he was 5th from the bottom at the Naval Academy.
Counts himself "lucky" to be the nominee in spite of this ignominious academic record.

5. I've said this before, but no one will believe me
FAUX wants Obama to win.

No, Rupe has not seen the light.

Rupe knows that Rush Limbaugh's ratings were through the roof in Clinton's first term. Rupe realizes that FAUX (both it's TV and Radio arms) will reap huge ratings if Obama wins.

12. Murdoc is not an american. He doesn't give a shit about us. He doesn't care.
He will only act in his own personal best interests: Ratings and access to the famous and powerful.

9. Fox is bucking for a seat on Air Force Once and they know it won't
be McCain welcoming them aboard. Fox seems to be opting for access to the president over their reich wing, nutball viewers.

10. Watching. First 10 minutes, Gramps gets his own way. Not that it helps.
Ok. Now he's countering on Joe The Plumber. Gramps getting defensive. About campaign form, not policy. Joe Biden attacked Joe the plumber. Boo whooo.

OK. Do you think Obama is a socialist? Dodge. Again with the $42K tax increase.

But, senator, you voted for the bailout. Isn't that socialist? Of course I voted for it.

Bottom line: Regular voters don't have the attention span to follow Gramp's long winded defenseive postures. And even if they follow it, it leads nowhere.

Played a quote that Gramps pledged not to robocall.

Back to Lewis. Gramps doing our work for us: Attaching images of racism to his own record.

Back to Ayers. Playing an old TV tape saying he wouldn't go there on ayers and wright.

Now with the desperate smarmy smiles, and the big dodge bcak to jobs and economy.

Who let him go out there in a blue shirt with a yellow tie? Blue=Democrat, yellow=chicken.

Trying to come off as the not-angry-old man. Fake smarmy smile.

and just bolted the network.

15. Palin is "a direct counterpoint to the liberal feminist agenda. "
SHIT! This guy's an avowed mysoginist! SHIT! Wow!

Well, Gramps, THIS feminist is getting your butt fried in 2 weeks.

Little bad news for you: Your little affair with the bimbo ends in 2 weeks, and she'll probably never even take your phone calls.

You're stuck with Cindy, unless, of course, you decide to have another affair on the side.

16. There are time when Chris Wallace is a good journalist. Remember, he used to work for NBC.
He's actually not THAT bad, when considering that he's now a Fox News personality.

17. Just conceded: "I'll go back to live in arizona and be a senator."
Wallace ended with, "You might be president!" and Gramps relied, "You never know!"

24. I have teh suspicion that Chris Wallace has a man crush on Obama
and that has helped to temper whatever wingnut talking points Fox wants him to spout. Remember the little face to face Obama granted him? It was the first Fox interview and Obama gave it to Chris Wallace. I think like with Bill O'Reilly, Chris Wallace probably couldn't help but be impressed. I think it's entirely possible to be impressed with someone and not vote for him-- the problem is that the facade that McCain built up of being honorable has fallen short of the substance that Obama has and Chris Wallace is reacting to that.
