1. I was afraid to watch last night

But I think that Palin was a good sport about it...yes I do... and I can't stand her. It's not like she hasn't heard this stuff about herself before. Do I think that anyone will be swayed either way by this...absolutely not. I don't think she was expecting bouquets of roses. Perhaps SNL has 'jumped the shark' on this but it was boring and nothing new.

2. Yes, they were pretty brutal to her

without equipping her with the lines or opportunity for comeback, which is why I suspect there's a story behind the story about how much she'd actually participate in her own deprecation. She probably drew a lot of lines, and SNL refused to accommodate her preferences.
