More W.Va. voters say machines are switching votes
In six cases, Democratic votes flipped to GOP
http://wvgazette.com/News/200810180251

Three Putnam County voters say electronic voting machines changed their votes from Democrats to Republicans when they cast early ballots last week.

This is the second West Virginia county where voters have reported this problem. Last week, three voters in Jackson County told The Charleston Gazette their electronic vote for "Barack Obama" kept flipping to "John McCain".

In both counties, Republicans are responsible for overseeing elections. Both county clerks said the problem is isolated.

(snip)
"I pushed buttons and they all came up Republican," she said. "I hit Obama and it switched to McCain. I am really concerned about that. If McCain wins, there was something wrong with the machines.

"I asked them for a printout of my votes," Ketchum said. "But they said it was in the machine and I could not get it. I did not feel right when I left the courthouse. My son felt the same way.

7. I went to Obama's website and emailed the entire article to them
in the Contact Us area of the site. I urged them to investigate the issue immediately.

6. Notice how you NEVER
hear of a vote for a Republican being 'switched' to a Democrat. Wonder why that is?

9. The Machinez Are Programmed to Count The Entire Page as Republican, Except for a Tiny Dot
Edited on Sat Oct-18-08 11:33 PM by AndyTiedye
It is obvious what they have done here.

The Democratic "zone" is a tiny dot in the middle of the square.
Touch anywhere else on the page and it votes Republican.
This was obviously done deliberately.

We cannot possibly win on machines programmed this way!
There will be a "landslide" for McCain here, caused entirely
by the machines flipping votes, unless we stop them from
using these obviously rigged voting machinez!

Where is Obama's legal team?
PLEASE, let them be on this,
not MIA like all the lawyers Kerry was supposed to have

How many other states have machinez like this?

13. thanks elleng
I sent it to Schumer too since he's on the committees for - Rules and Administration

The Rules Committee plays an extremely important role in the federal government. Its jurisdiction includes:

Federal elections for President, Vice President, Representatives, and Senators.
The rules and procedures of the Senate.
Corrupt practices.
Senate buildings, offices, and facilities.
The Government Printing Office and the Congressional Record.
In the Rules Committee, Chuck has worked to ensure the integrity and fairness of federal elections. He is the nation's leading advocate of voting reform, crafting landmark bipartisan legislation that would provide funding for local governments to improve their voting technology and provide guidance and expertise in improving election practices.

14. Good idea, cal.
I view shumer, however, as one of the obstacles to 'change.' Wasn't it he and feinstein who voted FOR what's his name, for the supremes? Maybe i'm confused; its late!
