5. you're welcome. He went on to say he can find no connection to the bad registrations
and the Obama campaign. Pretty much he is now saying it's just bad management on ACORN's part.

7. yeah, after CNN was in a frenzy of misleading, faux "investigative" ACORN hysteria all week
It sucks that the media isn't calling out McCain/Palin for trying to link this to Obama, and saying "He needs to answer questions!" Palin did this against today in PA.

11. Yes, they're finally getting it. ACORN is the victim, not the perp.
ACORN is prohibited by law from holding back any of the registrations turned in, even if some are suspicious. And they don't have any reason to be suspicious of any registrations UNTIL the workers turn them in. They hire people to get the registrations, and then are stuck with the results.

Does this mean that some of those hired are bad eggs? Yes. Does it mean ACORN could do a better job picking such persons? Yes.

But is it not voter fraud. It's a fraud by the person who took ACORN's money and failed to follow ACORN's legitimate instructions.

This is not about voter fraud. It's about the GOP marketing meme designed to cloak THEIR voter suppression activities in the guise of "fighting voter fraud." The GOP has done this for at least 50 years, and every election they get more sophisticated at using laws and government position to game the voting system and suppress the vote.

Voter registration is the problem. Your driver's license should automatically allow you to vote in any election in the precinct reflected on your license (for all over 18), and your right to vote should never thereafter be impinged or abridged based upon some registration law. Voter registration laws have always been about limiting legitimate voters from voting by erecting barriers to easy voting.

12. So now will they go after the RNC, McCain,...
the Bush regime and the FBI with the same tenaciousness? After all, all four know what Drew has finally figured out, but are perpetrating a fraud on the American people by trying to convince them that Obama is involved in voter fraud and that the elections will not be valid if he wins.

Are they going to try to find out why these groups are involved in this conspiracy and why they clearly spoon fed this BS to the media? Because that is where the story really is!

to Lou Dobbs yesterday. Wanted to give him a heads-up on the possibility he might be hauled in for questioning by Special Prosecutor Nora Dannehy.

14. That's a big admission for a really big mouth: CNN> Must have been pressure.
I'd like to know who can put that kind of pressure on CNN. Could it be Obama?

16. It's hilarious how these people (those against Obama) think that ACORN is engaged in some nefarious
activity with the voter registrations.

Who do they think went through all the ACORN registrations, flagged them as suspicious, and told the various state BoE and SoS about them?

It was ACORN itself that self-policed the registrations as being possibly problematic. If ACORN was truly intent on committing voter registration fraud, why would it bring attention to such registrations on it's own?

When one looks at it logically, it doesn't make sense that ACORN would ** INTEND ** to do this. The fact that they themselves caught these problematic registrations and brought them to the attention of the various BoE and SoS should be lauded instead of scrutinized.
