Bachmann and Palin are McCain's "Magician's assistants"

Sex sells. Bachmann is good looking, folks, and a distraction. Censuring her plays right into Republican hands. Her pretty face will be all over the news, the Ayers/Wright propaganda successfully catapulted.

The less attention paid to Palin and Bachmann the better. They are like the "missing blond of the week" applied to politics. Any excuse to get a hottie on the page to sell the Edsel (McCain).

McCain didn't choose an "ugly, old, serious" GOP woman like Kay Bailey Hutchison. He chose a Britney. We don't need two of them.

Who wants to bet that Kristen Wiig does a Bachmann skit tonight on SNL?

edit: correct spelling of Bachmann

1. Just give to Tinklenberg if you can but don't ever stop paying attention

to the Michelle Bachmann's of the world.

On edit: Listening to Michelle was the impetus for me to give to Tinklenberg. I live in New York State.

2. Yea but

If sex sold then Palin would be helping. Palin has absolutely NO traction with anyone other than rabid righties no matter how she looks. While I am sure there is an element of "American Idol" voting that is going on, I think people know things are much too fucked up to let someone like this in position of power.

I also don't think KBH is unattractive at all. I think she is attractive, but is older of course.

5. Bachman is different.
She is just a Congress critter.

The Palin thing did not pay off because McCain tried to incorporate her into the machinery instead of just as a paint job.

BTW, I completely agree on KBH being attractive. More attractive than either Palin or Bachman in my book...but still seriously awful for her politics.

3. This time the assistants accidentally cut Magician in Half
Half of McCain's support is on the far right, half is moderate.

And they just split that support down the middle.

4. And the irony there is
Both Palin and Bachman would tell you that "magic" comes from Satan

6. Hutchinson is smart enough to avoid the McBush train wreck.
Bachmann, well, she isn't the sharpest crayon in the box.

8. I couldn't disagree more. Her stupid visciousness more than makes up for her face.
It was seeing her speak on television that created what is probably an unprecedented influx of cash for her opponent. And apart from the money he's getting, she probably sealed the fate of her political career yesterday.

9. Two words: Ann Coulter
Bachmann and Mean Jean Schmidt will get completely different trajectories: both kooks, one cute.

I agree Bachmann may get taken down by the campaign donations to her opponent, but the Freep side is probably emptying their wallets for her. So we'll see.

10. Coulter can't be voted out of an office she doesn't hold. Bachman can.
I don't think you hear from Coulter so much anymore either.
