1. MSNBC should at least cover it, if only to pat themselves on the back for being the catalyst
I mean, it was only after Chris Matthews' interview of Bachmann that provided the material that then got widely disseminated online and then lead to the insane amount of money that got raised for Tinklenberg. You would think that with the self-aggrandizing that the MSM loves to do that MSNBC would just JUMP on this story.

3. I expect it to be covered Monday by Chris, Keith & Rachel
After the net makes it a big story - which it it is. This is huge and will be even bigger if Tink unseats "Blech-man".

6. I don't know? Personally, they are out dated.. the only info they get from
the "left" is cruising our boards.. they steal what they want and twist what they can.. they better wake up and start reporting news, or become obsolete... seriously, most people don't have the time these days to fit in their canned news.. most pop onto the sites they like to stay informed.. our e-mail boxes keep us updated on latest breakings and news accross the world. They are digging themselves into obscurity.. the days of spinning the news is starting to come to a close. When you turn on Keith and Rachel and hear real news, investigation, journalism and it sounds soooo different than the spin of the day, you have to wonder what in the world is going on. More people don't trust the news.. especially, when a local story breaks, the spin is applied.. and you were there to witness it all with your own eyes.. so, they are doing their best to work themselves out of the business.

10. "Tinklenberg campaign to release “overwhelming” donation numbers today"
http://minnesotaindependent.com/13670/tinklenberg-campaign-to-release-overwhelming-donation-numbers-on-monday

Update: The campaign now says it’ll release 24-hour fundraising numbers at 3:05 pm today on Daily Kos and the Huffington Post.

Democrat El Tinklenberg’s campaign has received an “overwhelming” amount of contributions since his Republican opponent, Rep. Michele Bachmann, told MSNBC’s Chris Matthews that she believed the media should investigate whether members of Congress are “anti-American.” But, as the money’s coming in so quickly, the campaign can’t yet give firm numbers.

Tinklenberg’s communications director, Kate Munson, told MnIndy that online support has been strong, and that donations coming through Act Blue — $128,000 currently, coming from more than 3,000 supporters — has been one of many ways the campaign has been accepting funds. She wouldn’t give an estimate for direct donations to Tinklenberg08.com. “We’ve had an overwhelming amount of online support,” she says. “We’re still counting so it’s impossilbe to give an accurate estimate.” She says the campaign will make an announcement of the figure Monday morning.

:woohoo:

Maybe after the press release, it will make it to the MSM.
