I am. I am cooking a bird. Biggest one I can find. That day is going to be family time. I won't even consider going to work.

My mom's coming down this next week.. Unfortunately, its the only time she has and we are working on my house.. so, my time is being pulled away from Obama for my momma..

25. I called in sick, too.
I was an election judge. We finished up around 9:15pm. I got home about 10 minutes later. Kerry was doing well - they had just declared PA for him. Then, in the next half hour OH flipped for boosh & it was over. I went to bed in tears & called in the next day. I worked in a small office at the time & everyone knew how involved I was in politics & that election. I was depressed for a few months. I had to make an effort to snap out of it.

If that happens again this year, I fear I will become an alcoholic.

I wouldn't want to miss some of my co-workers discussing the coming door-to-door handgun collection and "muslin" indoctrination.

20. I am on the 4th...
but may take the whole week off. I'm either going to celebrate my ass off, or go to DC and camp out in front of the White House until Obama is sworn in.

24. Chris Rock said if you have anything to do on 11/5 that requires black people
you should plan on not getting it done that day if Obama wins.

"If you're flying somewhere on November 5, you'd better plan on carrying your OWN bag!"

26. I only have an hour and a half of class at 5pm on Wednesdays
Plus I asked a prof. to reschedule a test we were supposed to have on Thursday since I didn't want to study on election night. Since the other three students agreed and since it's an American politics class, the prof. decided it would be okay to postpone the test. So yeah, I'm pretty much wide open.

27. From the Department of Too Much Information, I give you...
I have an appointment for the day after the election to go get The Test That
Aging Men Must Have And Don't Want To Think About
. Luckily, my doc is a Democrat and strong local supporter of Senator Obama. If he were a Republican I'd think about rescheduling.
