I have been following some of the right-wing blogs and they're getting pretty angry. Its like the government belongs in their hands or something.

They are crazy!

1. Ever seen a Freeper rally?
After all 12 of them are done marching, there's two dozen left to sweep up the popsicle sticks.

3. No. We all sat on our hands when the election was handed over to bush, so I doubt it very much.
I think it's the fluoride in the water, which is said to make folks passive. It's the only reason I can see why we have all let this happen to our country.

4. I have thought the same thing
It HAS to be something in the water, or air. Maybe there is some truth to the Chem trails produced from planes.

26. The only thing that could cause most people to riot is turning off their cable.
we've gotten fat and lazy as a country.

5. they don't have the spine to march or do things in the open.
but there will be a collective hissy fit. vandalism, torn up obama signs, shouts at people wearing obama t-shirts.

6. In some neighborhoods, they'll see an uptick in racially motivated assaults
and I wouldn't want to park my car in some places with my Obama sticker on it.

I've had police threaten me in public for having a Kerry sticker.

If my kids were black I'd keep a careful watch on them for a while, because some people are really going to use this as an excuse for acting on their own inner rage.

24. It will be the obvious hoodlums: The marginal nut cases. Most people
will either be awakened or keep their resentment to themselves.

At my school, I'm sure we'll have a few quotable statements and possibly some colorful graffitti. But we're not known for violent attacks.

I actually know a couple of bigots on staff who will have a funny look on their faces, trying to keep it bottled up.

12. It's hard to riot without breaking a nail
I've got this image of a couple of Christian Dior dressed white women with expensive jewelry jacking a big screen TV. Or Biff and Josh with their sweaters tied around their neck looting the Old Navy.

14. better yet
has anyone considered the reality of riots if Obama loses . . . and Palin becomes president because McCain croaks on election night?

It would be the closest thing to civil war we've had in a very very long time -

17. I think it is a very real possibility
These folks are losing their damn minds and stirring up resentment and hate amongst the "slow folk". I think all liberals & non-whites need to be extremely careful when Obama wins this thing. There will be some heads exploding on November 5th and if this thing is contested it will be even worse as they will feel like the white house was stolen by a brother.

28. no, those kinds of people don't have the balls for collective action . . .
I'm much more concerned that one of them becomes the "lone nut" that the media will headline after s/he does something really stupid . . . and really bad . . .

29. I'm more worried about violence/rioting if McCain
and the voting machines steal this election.

And I may have to be one of the violent/rioting people myself.
