Reader's comments on Minneapolis Star Tribune, regarding Michele Bachmann
"Vote all Republicans out - Bachmann must go...thinking people will elect Obama by a landslide...District 6 please vote the "phony" Representative out. She does not reflect all of us but only some small fringe base. VOTE your protest: vote all Republicans out...its the only way to send the message loud enough so it can be heard!...No on Bachmann's flawed non-thinking!"

:applause:

"What a disappointment - As a Republican, I am ashamed that Michelle Bachmann is a member of my party. A remark like that is a re-election killer."

:applause:

"Ahistorical - At least the first time around, the Great Depression and McCarthysim were separated by a few years. Let's try having them simultaneously and why not throw in a Salem Witch Trial while we are at it!"

"True Courage - These elitist comments are disgusting. Only Michelle Bachman has the courage and the foresight to bring back and chair HUAC, which will truly unify this great country."

:wtf:

1. Looks like McCarthy still has a fan out there.
But otherwise, she's toast.

2. I'll bet another $35 to Tinklenberg that one was from Bachmann herself.

3. "this great country"
One of Mooselips' robo-phrases. Worse than fingernails on a blackboard.
