I'll be leaving in a couple of hours to cast my vote in Nevada (and yes, I will be voting for Jill Derby). Today, I've been reading about troubles people are having with voting machines in WV. I wanted to pass along some information I found at Black Box Votingabout what to do when you have voting machine problems.

The following is a list of actions to take when you encounter problems with voting machines:
In November, come prepared to get evidence, with camera, video, or at least an audio recorder.
Most people have video on their cellphones these days. If you catch a machine flipping votes take video of it to post online. Yes, people will tell you that you can't take cameras into a voting book, but I can't find any evidence to suggest this is actually against the law. So just slip your cell phone into your pocket and if there are any problems whip it ot.
GET THE SERIAL NUMBER OF THE MACHINE.
It may take you a moment to track down the number, but it is well worth the effort. If machines are messing up the elections office needs to know which machines are the problem.
Seed evidence into the public record. If you show a poll worker that the machine is vote-flipping, insist that she write it up.
Poll workers probably will not want to mess with this, and with heavy turnout it may delay things for some people. That being said, it is important to make sure there is a public record of any problems.
Most importantly, tell people, anyone you can think of, make sure as many people as possible know about your encounter. It's just like when you were 7 and McGruff told you to tell three people if anyone touches you in a bad place. Only now the bad place is your right to a free and fair election and instead of three people make it 3000.
