1. How can there still be 45% of people who want to vote for McKook? It's unreal.
This election should pretty much mirror Bush's approval ratings. McCain should have about 30% of the vote -- the cold-dead-hands Republicans, the It's-called-the-White-House-for-a-reason racists and the Obama-is-a-Muslin idiots.

But this race shouldn't even be close. It says frightening things about our country that it is.

2. There is a huge undercurrent of racism, unfortunately.
Obama has had to overcome a LOT with the smears and the slanderous emails going around.

3. This may be it going into election day
Its looking good. The big 10-12 point leads a week or two ago may be due to the economic convulsions, and McCain's erratic response. Barring any further headlined economic upheavals I suspect this will be near the margin of the election.

Where we could exceed this margin would be turnout and enthusiasm. Polling shows an enthusiasm gap for Obama. I expect record AA turnout, margins, and enthusiasm. If all the stars align I could see an extra couple points for Obama, turning the election into a landslide.

4. Good number
This is good for Rasmussen - Obama polled well after the debate - it's gonna be a slight erosion through the next couple weeks.
