And that is just off ActBlue. I'm sure many people, like me, donated directly to his site. Probably safe to double that number.

2. Does anyone know if this was a fairly close race before her
public FIT on Hardball?

7. That's a statistical dead-heat!
Maybe Franken and Tinklenberg should join forces.

5. Bachmann had a 4 point lead over Tinkerberg before.
It was either 42-38 or 43-39. I can't find the link that said that.

8. I just sent him a small donation. We're retired and I couldn't send much,
but if a lot of us send just a little bit, he can send Bachman packing her bags, and THAT is the very best way to show her what we all think of her tactics!

9. It's remakable that it's so close - she has almost 4 times as much money on hand

As of a few days ago, Bachmann had $1,925,499.

Tinklenberg had $533,260.

(Totals on the right side of the page, by district.)

That page also has a recap of their debate on Thursday, including this bit:
Bachmann said Tinklenberg is calling for a "Jimmy Carter-era tax style ... Liberals like my opponent just love to bash people who become successful."

It's also very amusing to see Bachmann distancing herself from Bush. Not only has she been a faithful party hack, even receiving fundraising support from Snarling Dick, she was the one who infamously kissed Bush after the 2007 State of the Union address.

I've been wondering since late last night if I can afford to donate. I'll have to think on it some more.

Edit: I went ahead and did it. Feels good!
