To this day, she can not get past the fact that Hillary isn't the nominee. I can understand disappointment. Really, I can. But at some point, it's time to collectively move along. And, truth be told, I was a bit worried about how the convention was going to play. I was so thrilled to be completely wrong in my doubting (the doubting being with the PUMA contingency, not the Clintons.) And, the closer we get to the election, this continual nonsense leads me to believe that an overwhelming majority of these "PUMA" fools were never really Hillary supporters to begin with. Yes, there are some. That Lady Roth-whateverhername and the wife of Mr. kt's boss. There, I can only name two. But most people, women like my mother- who lived in Arkansas when the Clintons were in the Governor's mansion and has loved them all these years - went, "ok. I like Barack. He's awesome, too." Just like many of us Obama supporters would have done. Same exact thing.
In the end, the overwhelming majority of these idiots are McCain/Palin people, just playing this role because they figure, "well, I might as well keep up the charade and see what kind of damage I can cause. Tee-hee."
My prediction is that, eventually, the Republican party will splinter off: those who think the McCain/Palin klan rallies are "pro-Americans fighting for freedom and democracy," and those who are conservative but this the klan rallies are full of raving lunatics and want no part of that. Eventually, the sane conservatives will become the loyal opposition again and not the enemy of democracy, like they've been under Bush/Cheney and are behaving under the candidacy of McCain/Palin.
