What are we supposed to take away from the Obama/Ayers connection?
Is it that Obama hates America? Then why is he running for President?

Is it that he wants to bomb government buildings like Ayers did?

Is it that we're to assume that Obama would invite and encourage terrorist attacks on U.S. soil?

Most of the supporters I've seen at McCain-Palin rally videos say this is evidence that Obama is a "terrorist." I don't get it. I don't see anywhere in his biography where he committed terrorist attacks.

Is this supposed to be proof that he's some kind of hybrid Leftist-Islamic Manchurian candidate?

1. And Ronald Reagan was palling with the terrorist who bankrolled Ayers
to the tune of $50 million.

Oh wait...not supposed to mention that part!

Obama = terrist!

Rightwingnuts; truly the stupidest silliest MFers. Ever.

2. THIS IS WHAT RIGHT-WINGERS ACTUALLY BELIEVE:
>Is it that Obama hates America?
Yes!

>Then why is he running for President?
So he can destroy it from within.

>Is it that he wants to bomb government buildings like Ayers did?
Yes.

>Is it that we're to assume that Obama would invite and encourage terrorist attacks on U.S. soil?
Also Yes.

>Most of the supporters I've seen at McCain-Palin rally videos say this is evidence that Obama is a "terrorist." I don't get it. I don't see anywhere in his biography where he committed terrorist attacks.
Of course not. He's deliberately hiding it.

>Is this supposed to be proof that he's some kind of hybrid Leftist-Islamic Manchurian candidate?
Exactly! Now you're getting it.

8. "Of course not. He's deliberately hiding it." - Yep, like Saddam's WMDs,
where the more time passed without a wisp of evidence of their existence turning up, the more the kool-aid drinking rihgt took that as proof of how diabolically well hidden they must be.

Similary, the more Obama show's himself to be a decent, level-headed, civic-minded, honorable man, the more that will be taken as evidence that he's hiding the "fact" that he's not.

You just can't reason with people who think reasoning is strictly for socialists and homosexuals.:banghead:

3. If you're asking me, I think it's pointless, irrelevant, and really boring.
The Ayers "connection" is a big snooze fest.

What do you think?

6. Well yeah it's stupid.
The guy's a prof at the University of Illinois; it's not like he and Obama are sharing tips in a cave in Tora Bora.

9. Republicans are trying their hardest to get people whipped up over this.
I think it's boring, and I don't think too many people are genuinely concerned or interested. The only people who act like it's a big deal are people who never liked Obama anyway. It's a fake non-issue, and deep down, everyone knows it. (except for the brainwashed fools who believe he's anti-American. But then again, we know those brainwashed numbskulls would never have voted for Obama, anyway, no matter what.)

5. no logic at all
it is just stirring up the mobs

"pals around with terrorists" is this year's "commie under every bed" or Lindbergh's anti-semitic rantings

it does not need to make any sense; it is just pointing and saying "sic 'em, boy" to a bunch of attack dogs

7. Quit making sense
They want you not to do that, lol.

Your OP reminds me, of all things, of a conversation I heard between Hannity and Dick Morris ( :puke: ). Even Dick Morris said, back in the primaries this was, that to believe all that, you'd have to believe that Obama's some kind of Islamic Manchurian candidate.

This is so nuts, but it plays on people's fears and prejudice.

10. It's just another smear tactic
It's how the repugs wage campaigns. Throw a bunch of shit around and see if any of it sticks. The Ayers smear isn't helping McCain.

11. Yes. Exactly. The FACT, though, is that the ACTUAL POLITICIANS believe NONE of this. It's LUST for
POWER and HATRED of the ELECTORATE.

12. One question
One question that the right wing wackos never answer is:If William Ayers is a terrorist who bombed buildings, and killed people, why the hell is he still walking around free? Are they trying to tell us that every one knew he was a terrorist, but didn't know killing people was against the law? Ayers received financial support from republican donors for years, and they appointed him to boards, all the while knowing that he was a terrorist bomber, how come? If Caribou Barbie knows about terrorists running around free, she should call the cops, or shut the fuck up. O.K., that's more than one question, but it's really pissing me off that these idiots act like Ayers is a big time terrorist, but nobody as ever thought about arresting him.
