Pennsylvania GOP Sues ACORN and Rendell Appointee
Edited on Fri Oct-17-08 09:11 PM by Gman
The Pennsylvania Republican Party filed a lawsuit on Friday against Secretary of the Commonwealth Pedro Cortes and the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) and its subsidiaries.

The announcement was made at a press conference in the State Capitol by Pennsylvania Republican State Chairman Robert Gleason. "With the election being only a couple of weeks away and with more and more incidents of voter fraud coming to light, we don't believe that we can trust the results of this election," Gleason said.

"We don't believe that we can trust the results of this election." That one statement tells you EXACTLY what their strategy will be come Wednesday November 5. They know right now that they will not win on November 4.

Remember what I've been saying since the very first day I joined DU in March 2001. There was a coup d'etat in December 2000. The US government was overthrown in a right wing bloodless revolution. Therefore, by definition, these people are capable of literally anything. Even if Obama is declared the winner by all the networks the night of November 4, the election will be far from over.

1. The best part of all this? The GOP is being called out on it, finally.
Maybe this is the GOP's Votergate. I don't think Dems and pundits and bloggers are going to go quietly into this night, not when so much is at stake. And Obama is already going after them. Before it's over, I bet a lot of these suits will just go away.

3. I think that this lawsuit explains
why McCain has been aggressively campaigning in PA in recent days even though he is far, far down in the polls - they are planning on disenfranchising thousands and thousands of voters and/or some kind of 'challenge' of the election results.

4. You have got to be kidding me right?
Two can play this game. I say DNC should sue the fuck out of Sarah Palin, in her official capacity of Alaska's governor, and the election official there because Democrats believe she will try to steal that state's 3 electoral votes. This summer he was way up in the polls there. I demand a fucking investigation immediately. While were at it, let's look at Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Arkansas, Indiana, Tennessee, etc.

7. The irony is that this al qaeda-like simulataneous explosion of spurious voter fraud allegations
by the repukes is coming across as if they were a bunch of juveniles who think that no one is onto their nonsense.
