I agree, she looked like the fool she is. What a tool. SHE'S the ANTI-AMERICAN. What a liar.
On edit: Here's the LTTE I just wrote to the Minneapolis Star Tribune: So, now that Michele Bachmann has shown her true colors and has accused Senator Obama of being 'un-American' and has called for the return of McCarthyism, will Senator McCain repudiate her hateful, vicious and dishonest comments? Bachmann is repeating lies, innuendo, and fear mongering in a desperate attempt to smear Senator Obama. She has repeated the misquote of Bill Ayers in an effort to make him seem “unrepentant.” Here is the actual quote from Ayers: ‘I said I had a thousand regrets, but no regrets for opposing the war with every ounce of my strength. I told her that in light of the indiscriminate murder of millions of Vietnamese, we showed remarkable restraint, and that while we tried to sound a piercing alarm in those years, in fact we didn’t do enough to stop the war.’ (Emphasis mine). By calling Ayers ‘unrepentant’ and by trying to make the connection between Ayers and Obama more than it is, Bachmann is either misinformed, or deliberately misinforming the public. Given that the misquote has been corrected time and again, I have to believe the latter. This kind of incendiary filth has no place in American politics. Bachmann owes Senator Obama an apology. And if Senator McCain is serious about quashing the hateful and ignorant remarks made at his rallies and gatherings, I expect a full and complete denouncement of Bachmann's neo-McCarthyism. Michele Bachmann should be ashamed of herself. I'm ashamed to call her a Minnesotan, and am happy to say that she's inspired a call for 'money-bombing' Elwyn Tinklenberg's campaign in response to her mouthing off. Bachmann is the REAL un-American. Don't let the door hit you on your way out, Michele.
