We have reached the total intellectual incoherence phase of the campaign, right on schedule
Edited on Fri Oct-17-08 07:17 PM by Kurt_and_Hunter
I have yet to see a presidential campaign that didn't end in a reptile-brain free-for-all with no intellectual component left.

This year is worse than usual.

I cannot get over the Joe Plumber cult. It is a continuation of the Palin cult... a total stranger is thrown onto TV and millions of people spontaneously invest that person with a god-like status. They will then get in your face and argue with you about the virtues of a person they have barely even heard of.

Experiment: Ask a McCain surrogate (or McCain himself) whether Joe the Plumber is qualified to see America through the next 9/11. Seriously... somebody needs to do that.

The RW is, and always has been around the world, an elaborate suicide cult.

3. McCain might have been better off naming Joe the Plumber his running mate.
Hard to believe he or anyone else would have been as bad as Palin.

pushed by McCain today and funnily enough it's being pushed AFTER Joe the Plumber went on national airwaves and said this. McCain's campaign taking cues from a plumber? He also has had more press conferences than Gov. Palin....

10. This is what happens when a black guy is the opponent.
Anybody who embodies the latest euphenism for "real white americans" will do. From hockey moms to Joe Plumbers. Pick a victim. Make somebody white the victim.

12. The 'Basic Instinct' vote
-grabs for the lowest emotional states of survival, fear and loathing.

I can only hope that most people cannot be fooled by these tactics again, and realize that while they were busy buying duct tape and hating Muslims, the country was being destroyed right under their noses.
