Blanketed By Ads in North Carolina
My husband and I watched about 90 minutes of television last night on our DirecTV DVR. We watched shows we had already recorded, fast-forwarding through those commercials. At the end of each show, we'd briefly go to live television on whatever channel we were on (NBC I believe).

The first time we stopped the DVR (for dinner) for live TV: An Obama advertisement.

The second time we stopped for live TV: We came to live television in the middle of another Obama ad.

The third time we stopped after a show, we came to live TV in a regular commercial. While browsing our list for a new show to watch, that commercial ended and a third Obama ad came on. At this point we were laughing.

When that show ended, live television, straight into Obama ad #4!!

Our timing might have just been incredibly precipitous, but the brief glimpses we caught of television last night, we couldn't find a regular commercial for all the Obama we were seeing on our TV!

Best part? Not a hint of McCain! His funds are starting to dwindle, while Obama's campaign seems to be just getting warmed up for the deluge. The next 18 days should be fun to watch, if not just for the disparity.

6. It's the same here in VA with Obama but McNasty is running just as many
attack ads here.

They are downright nasty and they have completely given up on any issue ads. The major one right now starts with "If Obama gets elected he will take your money and give it to his liberal friends."
It's just compleltely ridiculous.

On the other hand, there are some good Obama ones. Issue oriented. And also a nice bio advert. featuring his grandfather, grandmother and his mom.

7. I've seen that McCain ad here in NC.
The McCain ads are just plain disgusting.

I see and here a lot of Obama ads too.
