3. Unless its a complete blowout
if it comes down to 2 or 3 states the pubs think they might be able to flip if they agitate enough, I think I would agree - 100%.

4. I agree - McCain was setting the stage at the debate the other night
with his BS about Acorn, subtly preparing the American people for a challenge to the results. And let's not forget how they did it last time: they shut down voting with protesting and banging on the doors where votes were being counted, they intimidated, they lied. The freepers are crazed right now, so we have to be prepared to make our voices heard, too.

Get ready - they are going to try to steal it. I think this time, though, our reaction will surprise them.

5. They'll bitch and moan if it's close, but even they

are not so dumb that they won't realize that they'll get no mileage out of bitching over a solid win.

6. Depends on how close it is.
If Obama wins by a landslide, they're not going to court.

If it comes down to one state, like the last two elections, I think we can expect some sort of challenge. They are already setting up their excuse with this Acorn bullshit.

8. Agree 100%. And given that the SC in 2000 ruled the way it did
Edited on Fri Oct-17-08 10:47 AM by SurfingAtWork
They're sure to rule the same way this year.

9. If it's close, yes.
If Obama wins a close race in Ohio and it is close nationally, and they count most of the provisional ballots in Ohio, the republicans will go absolutely nuts.

10. I think this is why in VA they are not allowing people to wear any politcal clothing or swag. It is
like a non verbal exit poll. If you see lines of people pre/post voting and it is 70%-30% Obama to McCain and the exit polling says it was 50%/50% ....then you know something fishy is going on. Thus making it harder to challenge an Obama win.

11. The no political stuff at poling places is just a state law. We have it in AZ as well.
It is in place to prevent electioneering and to maintain civility and whatnot.
