JUST HEARD THIS: THEY DIDN'T VET THE PLUMBER!?!?
Okay, so besides not making anything close to $250,000, it turns out that Joe isn't a licensed plumber. Joe says that's not a problem because he works for someone else. But it turns out the person he works for ins't a licensed plumber either, and in the county they are in, he has to be. So, it looks like McCain won't be saving Joe anything -- including his job!!!
Did they really not look into how much he made or whether he was legit BEFORE making him a star?
It's Palin, Part 2.
Assuming McCain knew nothing of any of this, are these the kind of people anyone would want around the next President?
Amazing!!!!

John McCain's next career:

2. Feel sort of sorry for Joe the fool. He and now his boss are surely paying for that 15 minutes of
fame. Perfect stereo-type of a Republican though, don't believe in taxes (so doesn't pay them), against regulations including licensing requirements (so don't bother obtaining them) don't make near the $250K that would require me to pay an additional 3% in taxes (that helps to cover things like the public defense attorney he'll probably need soon) because he believes deep in his heart that someday he'll be smart enough and work hard enough to make that kind of money....Uh, right.

4. They are so incompetent, it is frightening.
Do not let them anywhere near the White House!

6. Do you really find this shocking following the "vetting" they did on Palin?

I just hope the electorate will do their job when it comes to "vetting" on November 4th!

8. I shudder to think of what my life would look like to be thrust in the light that way...
I can only hope that this joker is a plant, cuz if they never TOLD him he was going to be used that way, he'd have the right to be pissed. Yes, even though he appears to be a total republican tool, I can't imagine any of us would like to have our lives put under the microscope that way for the world to see.

Me? I don't even have a traffic ticket to my name.. but if my story were told here on DU this way, I wouldn't look so good! Joe, if he didn't really agree to all this ahead of time, has every right to not vote republican for the first time in his life because they may have ruined his life.
