Are you worried?
Yeah, as a registered Independent and fiercely independent man who knows that the election of Barack Obama is this country's last best hope, I see this fraudulent, ambitious man apparently hanging over the edge...

Still, I'm worried.

I'm worried that we live in an uninformed, disinterested nation that could still be driven by more fear and more racism than it seems on the surface.

(I'm a little bit insulated from all of that, living in a truly international, multi-ethnic, multi-racial experiment that works every single day - - a town filled with free-thinking, open-minded and tolerant people.)

So, you out there in the rest of the country... are you worried that these polls aren't reflective of reality?

1. Not worried. I am, as they say, cautiously optimistic.

5. I'm very optimistic.
Most Americans don't like John McCain and they see him as four more years of Bush.

Obama has passed every test, and he has a big lead with no debates laft.

2. I will not breath a sigh of relief until this election is over.
When Obama is the winner and celebrations begin!

3. I'm worried about the voters being stricken from the rolls
I'm also worried what will happen on election day. If things go relatively smoothly, I think Obama will win, but the Republicans never give up without a fight, and they fight very dirty.

I'm working hard for the campaign here in Virginia.

4. Yes, and I get derided for it every time I say it.
It's not that I'm a glass-half-empty type. I'm very hopeful about this election. It's just that I've learned time and time again that you should never count your chickens before they hatch. And I will never underestimate the stupidity of the masses.

6. Not so much worried
But election day can't get here soon enough! If the election is held today, Obama wins easily. And if anything worries me, it could be that....is that it seems too easy to be true. 19 days can be an eternity in politics.
