ENOUGH! Sorry DU, but for now on I CAMPAIGN for McCAIN.
I've had my Obama signs ripped out and ripped off.

My signs for Steve O'Donnell (Dem. candidate for Congress) have met the same fate.

So that's it. I'm campaigning for McCain/Palin and the incumbent Republican Congressman Tim Murphy.

I sure hope they appreciate the help.

6. I'm in the same Congressional district.
Lots of rabid republicans here. I had four signs stolen during the 2004 presidential election. My Obama sign is planted right in the path of a motion detector light and next to my home security system sign. So far so good. Another of my neighbors is on his third Obama sign.

BTW, none of the McCain signs in my neighborhood, even the ones placed right next to the road, have been stolen or vandalized.

9. some folks in my very liberal area have signs about people not violating
their civil rights, pasted on top of their Obama signs.

Seriously, I think some folks simply want an Obama sign. I was at a GOTV meeting last night, and folks were desperate for yard signs, they can't keep them "in stock" since the demand is so high.

I'm just outside of Pgh and McCain signs are somewhat rare, about 4 to 1 ratio. :hi:
