2. Obama was calm, cool, and collected.
McCain was a blinky, attacking, interrupting, filibustering bully.

Our side did AWESOME!

4. In a nutshell:
McCrypt was the annoying Virgo he always is, with the strange facial tics, bloviating reponses, etc.

Obama was solid, measured and will be the next President of the United States.

What else do you want to know?

I'm going RIGHT now to get our seat assignments, check your mailbox. :hi:

6. McSame thinks that "women's health" (and he did use air quotes)
is just an excuse for the "pro-abortion" people to have their way.

I nearly punched my TV out!

8. A whole lot of tit-for-tat reproaching, but Obama rose above that
McCain was attacking most of the time, Obama repudiated every point but went on to offer solutions too.
McCain could hardly contain himself and was too often allowed to interrupt - where Barack was not.
Barack was way more poised and in command than McCain.

Barack won on points, and McCain certainly did not deliver any KO puch (which was what he needed - a gamechanger).

McCain but also Obama kept on talking about "Joe the plumber". rather silly, I'm sure you'll see that in a highlight reel.

Did that help?

12. Ephedrine as a stimulant

It can make your eyes water and open your nasal passages.

The result is that your eyes are a lot wider and you snort a lot.

15. McCain was offensive. Obama was thoughtful.
The exchanges were faster, and harder, than previous debates. The moderator let them go at each other. McCain went after Obama... and Obama did a lot of sidestepping, dodging, and thoughtful answering. Depth, and move. Stick and move.
Whenever McCain suspected that he had Obama near a proper hippy vs. establishment angle.... he would swing wildly with one of those old school "raise taxes" style attacks. It rarely made sense.
The first half was mostly just a debate about Joe the Plumber. The plumber Obama spoke with outside Toledo earlier this week. There should be video somewhere. McCain basically offered "ideological hookers and crack" to the Joe the Plumbers of the country, if they're willing to sign up with him. He mocked Obama for suggesting that a plumber who's soon going to be making $275k/year can afford to pay the taxes that such individuals paid under Clinton's Administration. He implied that everyone who made less than $250k/year was scum who wanted to steal "our" money... for some reason assuming that we all also make over $250k/year. McCain then mocked the idea of re-distributing the wealth of people like Joe the Plumber who make a paltry $275k/year... (ignoring the fact that it's only the amounts in excess of 250k/year that'll be "re-distributed").

The second half was best summarized by McCain's claim that women who want to have late term abortions for "health" (yes, he used air quotes, and labelled such notions as the work of left-wing pro-abortionists) reasons as being a ruse to kill babies.

There was a lot of smirking reactions from Obama when McCain lied. There was a lot of eye-rolling from McCain when Obama called McCain's most extreme lies.

I'm sure it'll be shown more soon enough...

18. McCain as the caveman with a club, Obama as the gentleman fencer
I should say blind caveman 'cause he didn't hit all too often.
Except Joe, of course :-)
