For those of us who missed the debate b/c of work, can anyone objectively summarize for us?

Just got back... getting some snippets of info here and there (ie. Joe the Plumber and McCain's blinking, obviously the Ayers stuff came up) but wondering if anyone could quickly synopsize their thoughts for those of us who couldn't watch. Sounds like Obama held his own and didn't seem to be a game changer for McCain? Will the punditry agree?

4. Seems like the pundits are calling it an Obama win

but this was the best McCain has done.

He got a couple of hits in the 9th inning. Enough to win the game? I don't think so, I think Obama won it based on this single thing: smartness.

McCain always sounds like he's stringing together talking points. It doesn't sound like THOUGHT.

With Obama, it sounds like thinking.

Barack Obama voted against Justice Bryer, even though Obama wasn't in the Senate in 1993 and there are extreme Pro abortion groups who are (he sarcastically put up air quotes) caring for the life of the mother. Yep,he did.

8. McCain just rambled off

and made ranting attacks. Obama had some opportunities to hit McCain, but seemed to stick to the issues. If you buy into the tax cut mantra, McCain dished it out. But that doesn't seem to be working out this time.
