Post your grades for the debate
Mine: Obama B+, McCain D+

Notes -

1. McCain got no traction from the Ayers and ACORN issues
2. Obama cleaned up on health care and choice - also gave an inspirational closing
3. While Obama started out flat, he quickly caught on
4. McCain again appeared angry and dislikable
5. While McCain had a surprisingly good taxes lie, Obama explained his plan well enough
6. Obama 3 for 3 on the debates!! :bounce:

1. Obama - A .. McCain C+
Honestly, McCain starts out at a B from the beginning just from the way he looks and acts.

2. Obama: B ; McCain C
Yes, Obama started off shaky, but I made an earlier post that if McCain fought, Obama would fight back, and I was right on :*

McCain honestly fizzled out and really dug himself into the ground. Obama started out as a D- but pulled himself up to a lofty B.

I agree completely with your grades. Obama won by acTKO--at least three knockdowns--while McCrazed swung wildly and sputtered GOP talking points.

6. I give Obama a straight B - Obama was good but did kinda phone it in.
It was better for Obama to just sit back and let McCain implode himself. I think there were a few places that Obama could have really sealed the deal but Obama went for calm, cool & collective.

9. Obama, B; McCain, D+
Obama did well and won. But he was overly cautious, IMO.

BTW, McCain looks like death warmed over.

11. Obama B, McCain C
I didnt think this was Obama's best night, but he shined in response to questions about William Ayers, health care, and education.

McCain sounded erratic during the entire debate and didnt really have all that good of a night.

Obama: Calm, refined, cruise control, with moments of revealing brilliance.

McCain: Creepy looks, weird, insincere, body language and appearance very off-putting. C for typical right wing content circa 2000's.

19. I'd say the same
A for Obama and B or B+ for McCain. I think partisans ignore the skill the opponent has in debating. I think much of Sen McCain said were lies but I think he's also a good debater--far better than the average politician is.

22. In the other debates, I gave McCain D and F
So this was his best IMO. Obama never lost his cool, though, and McCain was flailing around.

20. Obama B+ McCain D.
Obama starts off weak but ends strong. McCain starts off great but then completely falls apart, gives his most bizarre and uneven performance of all three debates.
