Kerry needs to educate the misinformed Faux News viewers.
One of the major reasons that Dubya’s followers have been more than willing to drink his KoolAid is the fact that they are devoted fans of the Faux News network. A lot of these viewers have grown up believing that anything they see on the news is factual, so they don’t question Faux News’ yammering propaganda. They believe Faux News is "fair & balanced" because it says so. To make the situation worse, the major news media, for whatever reason, isn’t doing its job, either.

Kerry should be educating these sheltered voters with all the news they’ve missed. Kerry should be informing them just how much of a crook their “steady God-chosen president” is. Give these people the same information that the assertive & curious voters have learned day by day in the last year or so on the internet. Lord knows, we wouldn’t have learned anything if it hadn’t been for independent news, as well as foreign news sources such as the Guardian (UK). (The UK voters are just as livid & disenchanted as we are, except they have the luxury of having the media on their side.) Give the misinformed Faux News viewers the opportunity to make an educated vote on November 2nd. Don’t rely on the media to get out the information -- it’s not going to happen.

The media loves a good fight. When the bulldog in Kerry comes out, it will get the media’s attention -- & it will be free tv exposure. And it will serve as a public service to all Americans who love their country.

1. We need viral marketing so we can get media attention
please help me get the word out:

most people have not read the 8/6/2001 PDB

Please print and distribute the image above. High res version for printing available below. Put them on car windows. Hand them out on street corners. We don't need TV buys to get some attention on this issue. We have to undermine Bush's perceived strength. We all are potential disseminators of printed media. We do not need a newspapers permission or lots of money for TV commercials. We need viral grass roots marketing. We need to create a buzz. If we create a buzz with massive distribution of printed ads we will get media coverage. If these start miraculously appearing and no one knows where they are coming from it will start to get media attention. now someone create a Condi ad and an Ashcroft.

Bush admin. INCOMPETENCE is key to undermining his strength.

2. Better yet, Kerry and Edwards should offer to make joint

appearances on O'Reilly, Hannity & Colmes and the Faux Sunday shows to refute the RW talking points - the votes on military budgets, the $87-billion votes and bush's threatened veto of the same, etc. . To do this, they must be armed with FACTS and figures to set the record straight; they must directly take on bush and cheney; they must be well-rested and ready to do battle; they must be willing to give Faux and their viewers their props (even if it's a bit pandering to do so); and they must do it in a forceful, kick-ass way. THAT's what Faux viewers like - politicians who don't back down.

Faux would jump at this because it would help their image on so many levels. There's no way they would turn it down - it would be to large a coup.

3. Again, it looks like we will simply have to start our own real
news network. Where are the billionaire funders for that? And why can't a dem-leaning network be as nasty and hard-hitting as FOX?
