How do you feel?-Huge debate tonight
Huge night tonight. A debate of critical importance. My stomach is in knots. A strong Obama performance tonight and this race is really over. This is the last night that anything bad can happen to derail our campaign (barring a major breaking news event that no one can predict.)

Are you nervous, excited, a little of both, bored, etc?

I'll just be happy when tonight is over and the last event that could change the contours of this race is passed. I'm not sure if I'll even be able to watch the news today. So nervous. lol.

3. I'm cool, really. Nothing to be nervous about
In the two prior debates, McCain has wielded the rhetorical equivalent of a rusty butter-knife to Obama's rapier. Nothing in the past week would indicate that he has upgraded his weaponry any, or that he'd even know how to.

4. short of some smoking gun that McCain has been hiding for the last two years
Sen. Obama just has to continue on message.

He's proven beyond any doubt that he has the credentials to lead and be an effective President.

It's McCain who has to scandalize Sen. Obama. We've already seen that since the primaries none of those previous so-called scandalous issues (Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright, etc.) are of less concern than the realities of everyday life for many of us. For me personally, their pasts are their pasts not Sen. Obama's. Granted, I would love to see Sen. Obama throw back into McCain (and the Republicans in general) the fact that Bill Ayers has served many years with and at the request of promenent Republicans like Mrs. Annenberg without any hint of contraversy for many years. I would love to see Sen. Obama do that right in the very beginning, in his opening remarks, letting everyone know up front that Sen. McCain is going to do his level best to sway discussion away from the realities that all of us are facing and try to sway people that I'm this or that solely based on what other people have done and said. Put it out there before any questions are asked, deal with it, throw it back at McCain, and say that the rest of the nite's debate is going to deal with what Americans are facing everyday and what direction he wants to take the country.

6. I'm excited. Every debate is more points lost for McCain.
Plus, his position gets worse and worse, which leads to more defensiveness and insecurity.

No need to worry, Obama has a mind of iron steel. (copyright)

Our candidate has something to say, a new economic proposal to put on the table, clean hands, and high ideals. McCain got nuthin'.

8. Kind of bored actually. I think I want it to be over so I can stop worrying
and get some better sleep at night. I think Obama will kick his ass as usual. We will be 4 for 4. I wish Nov. 4th was here already.

9. I am nervous and happy at the same time...
Well, I think this can go a few ways.

McCain will come out firing, bring up Ayers most likely, but I believe Obama will fight back well.

I also believe Obama might make a gaffe (again, my nerves).

I worry Obama might not talk right, and I worry he might stutter while McCain tries to stomp on him.

Overall, this will be a TOUGH debate in which Obama narrowly squeaks away with a near-unanimous win.

I am happy that these debates will be over in 12 hours and we can now focus on the election.

14. Not nervous about Obama, he'll do fine, just kind of anxious as to what stunt McCain will pull
since this is his last real chance before a mass audience.

The Grizzly bears, overhead projectors! His whole debate stuff revolves around this stuff.

22. McCain is one who should be worried. He is sinking fast and has few options left.
His party is abandoning him. He is running out of money. Obama just needs to be steady as usual.
